Dr. Sydney Gross is a residency-trained, board-certified optometrist specializing in ocular disease and comprehensive vision care. She provides advanced diagnostics and co-management for glaucoma, cataracts, and post-operative patients at Eye Physicians & Surgeons of Arizona, working closely with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care.

Originally from Midland, Michigan, Dr. Gross completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Hope College in Holland, MI, before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale. She went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital on the Gila River Indian Reservation in Sacaton, AZ—an experience that deepened her expertise in complex medical eye conditions and culturally informed patient care.

Dr. Gross is an active member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry, where she regularly participates in and presents at professional meetings.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys CrossFit and coaching, helping others achieve their fitness goals, and spending time outdoors—golfing, cooking, watching hockey, and connecting with family and friends.
