Overview
Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Arizona is seeking a glaucoma surgeon to join our growing surgical and clinical team. We are a physician-owned, patient-focused practice built on a culture of integrity, innovation, and excellence in care. Our ideal candidate is a driven physician eager to enhance and expand their clinical and surgical skill set in service of patients.
Our practice includes three fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeons and two medical optometrists, all working within a collegial, team-based model that emphasizes collaboration, coverage, and continual learning. We provide high-volume surgical and clinical exposure in an academic-style environment with ongoing outcomes research, a clinical rotation site for medical students, and opportunities for clinical and surgical research participation.
Immediate clinical and surgical volume is available. Physicians have access to the most advanced diagnostic and intraoperative technologies, including UBM, OCT, Argon/YAG lasers, LenSx®, 3D visualization, SLT, MIGS, and the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL). EPSAZ is the only practice in Arizona performing all FDA-approved glaucoma surgical techniques, offering exposure to leading innovations through our active research department and collaborations with top surgeons worldwide.
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial surgeon seeking long-term growth in a physician-owned model with clinical partnership, real estate, and ASC ownership potential. Academic affiliation with a local university is available, and efforts are underway to establish a residency training program.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform glaucoma and cataract evaluations, medical management, and surgeries
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing clinical trials and research initiatives
- Contribute to training and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of ophthalmology residency
- Fellowship training in glaucoma or anterior segment
- Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology
- Commitment to precision, innovation, and patient-first care
